What is MyATDW?
MyATDW is an easy online tool that allows you to update or add your own listing on the
visitcanberra website via ACT’s ATDW database. MyATDW gives you access to your listing 24 hours a day.
Your information or updates will be sent to the Digital Database Coordinator at Australian Capital Tourism for quality assurance. Once all requirements have been met, the Digital Database Coordinator will send your updates or information live to
visitcanberra.

How to use MyATDW
The process for using MyATDW to list a new product varies depending on whether you are listing a business or listing an event.
Australian Capital Tourism’s consumer advertising will continue to use
visitcanberra as the primary call to action. It’s vital that your information is current, engaging and relevant. Your information also gets
distributed to other major travel websites, so spending time on your one visitcanberra listing will make a big impact.
It’s important that you update your listing when details change. With MyATDW the process of updating an existing listing is slightly different to adding a new listing, but it’s still easy and quick.
How ATDW, MyATDW and visitcanberra are connected
Australian Capital Tourism accesses ATDW content for use in their websites and booking systems. Without a listing on ATDW, your information can’t appear on the consumer website
visitcanberra.
Product information you’ll need before you can list
Before you start entering details into MyATDW or onto the form, please ensure that you have:
- A main description of your business or event between 50 and 100 words that follows the listing guidelines.
- At least one photo, landscape size (280 x 228 pixels), to appear against your listing.
- Information such as tariffs, facilities, activities and contact details.
Browser requirements needed to use MyATDW to create or update a listing
You will need to be operating in one of the following browsers to use MyATDW:
- Internet Explorer 7.0 or above
- Firefox 3.5 or above
- Safari 4.0 or above
- Chrome 6.0 or above
